News from the Staff:

What a great start to year five! We are so pleased to see the children are wearing their school uniform every day, and are showing fantastic attitudes towards their learning. Well done to those children who are remembering to bring their planners to school every day, and hand in their Literacy and Maths homework each week. We are seeing some great progress in class already. Well done and keep up the great work Y5AO!

What parents can do to support their child:

Support your child at home by helping them to learn their weekly spellings and times tables. They will be tested on these every Friday. Children who achieve full marks will bring a good note home to share their success. Remember to sign your child's planner each day, to show that they are reading at home every night.

Additional Information:

PE is on Mondays and Fridays (PE kits should stay in school until the holidays). Homework is given out on a Friday and will be collected in on the following Friday. Children who complete their homework each week, will get a certificate at the end of each half term.
